On Friday, an anti-terrorist court (ATC) in the province capital ordered PTI leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Asad Umar to cooperate with the inquiry into the May 9 violent occurrences.

ATC Judge Ijaz Ahmed heard Qureshi and Umar’s interim bail application connected to the May 9 occurrences, in which both appeared before the court.

SMQ, the PTI’s vice chairman, has already submitted applications for temporary bail in three cases following the issuing of non-bailable arrest warrants.
