On Sunday, Jamaat-e-Islami chairman Sirajul Haq said the present coalition administration had failed to deliver.

The JI leader stated that the PDM, PPP, and PTI were all in agreement on running the economy with loans, and that the ruling parties were all in agreement on maintaining the interest system, with religious parties in the government remaining silent on the government’s interest-oriented policies.

As a result, he claims, debts have risen, along with rising inflation and poverty.

He claimed that the JI wants to rule the country according to Islamic values, whilst the other parties merely desired the status quo.
