A 70,000-person deluge in the Chenab River entered Pakistan from Indian-occupied Kashmir, devastating crops and inundating hundreds of acres of land in Jalala, a border settlement.

As a result, several peasants engaged in rice farming were stuck. However, the local authority started a rescue effort and relocated approximately 300 people, the most of whom were women and children.

The water released by India into the Ravi River a day earlier, on the other hand, will reach the Shahdara region of Lahore within the following 24 hours.
