Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, the leader of the Awami Muslim League and a former interior minister, stated on Wednesday that the unholy coalition of 13 parties would be at daggers drawn shortly.
He predicted that their disjointed group would disband soon and that disagreements between parties would be made public.
Sheikh Rashid said in a tweet on the social networking site Twitter that the countdown would begin on July 20 and the results would be available by August 12.
He stated the public would find out by August 10 whether elections would be held in 60 or 90 days. The AML chief stated that what transpired in the Punjab elections could not happen in the National Assembly elections.
