At Ganda Singh Wala in the Kasur district, the Sutlej River is beginning to flow normally again as of early Friday.

The water flow in the Sutlej River in Kasur has dropped from an alarming level of 1,15,000 cusecs to 90,000 cusecs. After Indian water aggression, an enhanced water flow had an impact on 15 communities in all. Out of the 18 thousand residents of the villages under risk of flooding, 11,000 were taken to safety.

PDMA Punjab, security personnel, and local authorities had previously received orders from the government to regularly monitor the situation while keeping open lines of contact. The River Chenab’s outpour, on the other hand, reportedly flooded 40 villages in Jhang, according to Interim CM Punjab.
