During the Karachi City Council meeting on Monday, members of the JI and the PTI protested and also squared off with one another.

The PPP Mayor Murtaza Wahab presided over the meeting, which featured “mandate thief” chants. The gathering adopted a resolution denouncing the Holy Quran’s defilement.

The mayor continued by saying that merely using catchphrases wouldn’t advance any cause or help to tackle the issues the community is having.

The JI and PTI members were also dragging each other during the meeting.
