On Friday, the Lahore High Court (LHC) revoked its earlier directive prohibiting the arrest of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman in any and all reported or unreported cases registered in Punjab.

This occurred when Justice Alia Neelum heard a petition the former prime minister sought to avoid being arrested. He also requested that the high court join all proceedings brought against him in the province.

Intizar Hussain, the PTI chief’s attorney, requested with the court to extend the session because senior counsel wasn’t present. He also asked the court to maintain the earlier ruling.
