The Lahore High Court has mandated that the election for the chairman of the Cricket Board take place within 22 days.

The Lahore High Court mandated that the Board of Governors be fully formed within 15 days and that the Chairman be elected within the following 7 days when it rendered its decision in the matter involving the nomination of the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

According to the written decision of LHC, lawsuits contesting PCB appointments begin to overflow the courts with each change of government. The government is interfering with institutions, which causes instability and uncertainty nationwide.
