Sumaira Malik, the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), announced her resignation on Tuesday.

She decried the events on May 9 in a video statement, saying, “I condemn the attacks on military installations.”

“I have also decided to resign from the party posts and separate from PTI,” Sumaira, who had an important position during the period of former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, added.
