RIYADH (Reuters) – Saudi Arabia provided $1.2 billion in economic support to Yemen’s suffering government on Tuesday, demonstrating its seriousness.

The assistance, which is being provided in response to Yemen’s request to resolve its budget deficit, aims to strengthen the country’s economy, alleviate human suffering, and ensure food security.

The considerable financial aid demonstrates the two countries’ strong connections and the Kingdom’s desire to foster security, stability, and development in Yemen.
