Dr Iftikhar Durrani, senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, was arrested by police in the early hours of Thursday.

According to a source, Durrani was arrested at his home in Islamabad.

PTI authorities have also confirmed Durrani’s detention.

According to sources, Iftikhar Durrani was arrested and taken to an undisclosed location.
