The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) appealed the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) decision in the Toshakhana case to the Supreme Court on Saturday.

The former prime minister’s petitions challenging the case’s admission, the court’s jurisdiction, and other parts of the case were answered by the IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq a day earlier.

By nullifying its earlier ruling, the high court remitted the matter to the lower court once more so that it could determine if it could be maintained. The PTI leader’s request to have the case transferred to a different court was rejected, and it was decided that Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar will continue the proceedings.
