The additional session judge who condemned the PTI chairman in the Toshakhana case, Umayun Dilawar, has left for the United Kingdom to attend a judicial conference.

According to reports, a letter issued by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) registrar on August 4 concerning nominating Dilawar for training has surfaced, saying that IHC Chief Justice Amir Farooq had nominated the judge to participate in the event.

The letter stated that Dilawar’s name should be added instead of that of another judge, Faizan Haider, and that he will be a part of the training program at the UK University of Hill from August 5 to 13.
