An anti-terrorism court granted the PTI chairman’s motion for exemption from presence in the Jinnah House and other cases.
The exemption was extended by the court until August 11.
The PTI chairman’s counsel filed a one-day attendance waiver plea, stating that the PTI is filing the appeal today due to his arrest. He hoped that the PTI chief’s punishment will be commuted.
Barrister Salman Safdar predicted that the PTI chairman’s freedom would be granted shortly because he has been attending in court on a regular basis.
