Balochistan Assembly will be dissolved today (Saturday) following the dissolution of the National Assembly (on Wednesday) and Sindh Assembly (on Friday).

Today, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Quddus Bizenjo would send the Governor the report for dissolving the legislature. The governor will sign the summary on the chief minister’s recommendation.

The interim chief minister’s appointment has not yet been given a definitive name. The first round of negotiations between Sardar Akhtar Mengal, the leader of the BNP-M, and Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of the JUI-F, took place on Friday in Islamabad, according to sources.
