The illustration for today’s doodle shows a toothed Indus Dolphin discovered in Pakistan’s Indus River. The Indus River Dolphin is its name.
This Indus dolphin species, also known as Bhalan in Sindhi and Urdu, is in danger of going extinct. It is also frequently referred to as a blind dolphin.
