(Web Desk) – Police in Islamabad detained 49 individuals, including 15 women, following a raid on an unlawful dance party hosted in an apartment on a plaza in the capital.
A squad from the Shalimar Police Station conducted the operation in the F-11 neighborhood following reports about loud music and suspicious activity.
During the search, police surrounded three flats and apprehended 34 men and 15 women, who were then taken to Shalimar Police Station for further legal action.
Authorities also seized multiple mobile phones, suspicious substances, and other things discovered on the property.
According to reports, a number of powerful and well-known persons have been working to obtain the release of those captured in the raid.
