The bail application of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Sheikh Rashid Shafique was accepted by the court on Monday, according to Dunya News.
According to the data, Judicial Magistrate Malik Arif had reserved the judgement after hearing the lawyer’s arguments.
The counsel for the imprisoned MNA stated that the event occurred in Saudi Arabia, but the case was filed in Pakistan, and that the case is just about political revenge.
Rashid Shafique’s lawyer went on to say that neither the Prime Minister nor the Information Minister became plaintiffs in the Saudi Arabian event.
