Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is currently in the United Kingdom (UK), will arrive in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today (Saturday) to pay his respects to UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the long-ailing ruler of the United Arab Emirates, died on Friday, the administration confirmed in a terse statement. He was 73. His funeral prayer was said on Friday night, and he was laid to rest in Abu Dhabi’s Al Bateen Cemetery.
Since November 3, 2004, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has served as President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
