Sara Ali Khan, an actress, has announced her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan’s Bollywood debut by saying that the shooting for his first movie is already complete.
Ibrahim’s assistance to Karan Johar in the filming of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was well known, but details of his acting debut were kept a secret.
Sara noted the parallels between herself and her mother Amrita Singh while praising her mother’s traits in an interview with Film Companion.
“I think mum is just the epitome of strength, so she’s a very strong person on the inside,” says the author.
“I believe that Ibrahim’s return home is when I most notice that we are both emotional beings,”
When asked about her brother’s preparations for his Bollywood debut, the Love Aaj Kal actress said, “You know, he just finished shooting his first film as an actor, which I can’t believe.”
She expressed to her brother her motherly affection, saying, “Yes, he has and whenever he comes home, whether it is from school or from shoot, we both have this extremely loving and like, this attitude towards him and that is when I realised, I do have the heart of my mother.” Because Ibrahim is treated quite similarly by us.
Next up for Sara is Zara Hatke Vicky Kaushal’s love interest Vicky Bachke is opposite her. The movie, which Laxman Utekar is directing, will debut on June 2, 2023.
