In keeping with the negative trend in the global market, gold prices fell in Pakistan on Saturday.
According to data issued by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of yellow metal per tola fell by Rs. 600 to Rs. 221,800 and by Rs. 514 per 10 kilos to Rs. 190,158 on the domestic market.
In the meantime, the cost of gold fell by $4 to settle at $1,914 per ounce on the world market.
On Saturday, the domestic market’s price of silver remained steady at Rs2,750 for a tola and Rs2,357.68 for a kilogram.
