The ECP dismisses a complaint filed by PTI defecting MNAs

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Election Commission rejected the PTI’s reference against its National Assembly defections on Wednesday.

The judgement, which had been reserved by the electoral commission’s three-member panel, was read by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja.

According to the ruling, “no meaningful evidence was offered against defecting members in the reference.”
