On Saturday, a federal district and sessions court in the federal capital again postponed the indictment of Awami Muslim League (AML) chairman Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in the case involving murder plot charges against former President Asif Ali Zardari.
After approving his appeal for exemption from presence, Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah postponed the procedure of establishing accusations against him.
Sardar Shehbaz, Mr Ahmed’s lawyer, represented him in the case. He said that raids were being carried out to apprehend his client despite the fact that he was not wanted in any case.
