After no Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker filed a no-confidence motion against Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, the session was adjourned until June 6.

According to facts, the chair panel opened the provincial assembly’s sessions and announced the mover of the no-confidence resolution. The mover, however, did not show up despite repeated appeals, and the no-trust resolution against Speaker Parvez Elahi was defeated.

Meanwhile, Uzma Bukhari, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, voiced her disgust with her own party’s members for failing to arrive at the assembly on time.
