The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) will hold a key round of discussions in Islamabad today (Thursday), according to Dunya News.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and his cabinet will meet with the MQM-P leadership as part of a series of political discussions between the two parties to discuss the current political situation, particularly Prime Minister Imran Khan’s no-trust motion.
According to insiders, progress on the proposed agreement between the PPP and the MQM-P is expected to be made at the meeting. The ongoing talks between the MQM-P and the unified opposition have produced some new demands, and today’s talks should be beneficial.
