Minneapolis, Minnesota (AP) – The Chicago White Sox are creating the worst kind of history after going without a win for nearly a month.
The miserable White Sox fell short of the American League record and lost their 20th straight game on Sunday, falling to the Minnesota Twins 13-7. This is the worst losing streak in major league history. Chris Flexen was chased early in the game.
“I’m at a loss for words,” stated Flexen.
Royce Lewis gave Minnesota an 8-0 lead with a three-run home run off of Flexen during a six-run second inning. Despite a strong comeback and a 7–7 lead in the eighth inning, the White Sox (27-87) were unable to draw much closer.
