ISLAMABAD: Today, police arrested Amir Mughal, the president of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Islamabad branch.

Outside the PTI headquarters in Islamabad’s DC, the president of the organisation has been detained.

Asim Baig, a PTI attorney, has confirmed that Asim Mughal has been arrested.

The PTI presidents in Islamabad were arrested, but the grounds for their detention are yet unknown.

Notably, Amir Mughal, the head of the Pakistan Democratic Party (PTI), was detained by Islamabad police in May after he was allegedly accused of attacking CDA and police officers.
