GAZA (AFP) – As the war entered its tenth month on Sunday, Israel carried out deadly airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, where fierce fighting was still going on throughout the Palestinian enclave. While Israel and Hamas continue to disagree greatly over the parameters of a truce and the release of hostages, fresh diplomatic attempts are being made to bring an end to the violence.

As the war entered its tenth month on Sunday, Israel launched deadly airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, with fighting still raging throughout the Palestinian territory and new diplomatic efforts underway to put an end to the violence.

Israel has announced that it will send a delegation to carry on the recent Doha truce negotiations with Qatari mediators.
