CALGARY (Canada) (APP) – Over 55,000 Sikhs voted in the Khalistan Referendum, which was held in Calgary, Canada, under the auspices of Sikhs for Justice.

In a video-link address to the Sikh community following the referendum, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the leader of the SFJ organization, vowed to reclaim their motherland through the “power of vote”.

He stated that India believed in targeting Sikhs and referenced the death of Hardeep Singh.

He did, however, warn that if justice was not served by the courts, the Sikhs would turn to “Khalsai Insaf” (Khalsai Justice).

He blamed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government for the slaughter of Sikhs in Punjab.
