LAHORE – Seven people were critically hurt when a cylinder exploded in a hotel in Lahore, the provincial capital.

According to reports, the cylinder explosion occurred on the premises of the Mochi Gate police station in Lahore.

A cylinder unexpectedly exploded in the hotel, burning seven people.

After receiving word about the tragedy, rescue personnel arrived at the scene swiftly. Rescuers sent the injured to Mayo Hospital for medical treatment.

Police have begun an inquiry into the event by collecting evidence from the scene.
