LAHORE – The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) stated Tuesday that it will stage a sit-in outside the Chief Minister’s House in Lahore on August 11.

Previously, the Jamaat had a sit-in in Rawalpindi for twelve days and in Karachi for four days.

According to Jamaat spokesperson Qaiser Sharif, JI emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman would also speak during the Lahore sit-in.

According to the spokesperson, Jamaat-e-Islami plans to expand the protest to more cities.
