PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Former President and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr. Arif Alvi on Tuesday predicted that “change is around the corner, and Imran Khan will be released soon; the planets have been moving.”
Speaking to the media outside the Peshawar High Court alongside Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub, he called the treasury parliamentarians corrupt.
He said they have harmed democracy to keep PTI founder Imran Khan away. “He (Imran) represents 90 percent of the public,” the former president added.
He said that the government has prevented anyone from using the name Imran Khan. They threatened the people that their [constitutional] rights would be revoked if anyone uttered Imran’s name, even in cricket tournaments. They’ve traveled back in time before 2018.
“Everything will have to start over.” We’re worried about the country. “I have to free the country from these usurpers and mafias,” he added.
Ex-President Alvi stated that the world will criticize the conviction of civilians in military courts. “The world condemns it, but nobody cares. “The mafia enjoys [privileges] while the poor go hungry.”
He questioned the government’s allegation that foreign investors were willing to spend $70 billion in Pakistan. “No money is coming from any part of the world, not a single penny.”
The PTI leader said that the current government had damaged the courts and the constitution. They wrecked everything by proposing the 26th Amendment to the Constitution. The amendment was a waste of time, he concluded.
They operate their company at the expense of the 99 percent public. Smuggling has continued, he claimed, and he questioned journalists if it had ceased in Balochistan.
According to the former president, talks take place with individuals in positions of power rather than those in government. Mediation does not take place when there are inhabitants. The usurpers cite mediation as a justification.
“The days of the rulers are numbered.” The planets are in motion, and change is imminent.”
Dr. Alvi stated that the PTI founder’s popularity has not decreased. “The heartbeat of the people is linked to the heartbeat of the PTI founder. There is still time to step back. I advise [them] that there is still time to persuade Imran Khan. Times are changing. The favorable planets in Pakistan are moving closer together. “The PTI founder will be released shortly.”
He stated that he would encourage the PTI founder not to accept the option of house arrest.
He added that it is the government’s job to investigate missing individuals.
He wanted the trial of all current and former politicians. “Justice demands that if one person is tried by military court, everyone else should be tried in the same way,” he said afterwards.
They are excavating their own graves by hand.
“I am not a fan of Jinnah House but of Quaid-e-Azam’s vision for the nations.”
