ISLAMABAD ( Channel News) : Salman Mansoor, the secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), was suspended by the organization’s executive committee on Friday.

The former secretary had filed a petition against the 26th Amendment, it turned out. According to the regulations, the SCBA president’s consent had to be requested, but in this instance, it was not obtained.

According to Rauf Atta, president of the SCBA, the secretary was suspended for breaking the regulations. According to Atta, the ex-official did not even attend the meeting to provide an explanation.
