Pervaiz Elahi and the provincial government will continue to carry out their responsibilities, according to Fawad.
LAHORE – Fawad Chaudhry, the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former federal minister, declared late on Thursday that the process to remove him from office has begun, according to Dunya News.
Fawad Chaudhry responded to Baligh-ur-tweet Rehman’s by claiming that the Punjab Governor’s decision to de-notify Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi lacks legal standing.
Pervaiz Elahi and the provincial government would continue to carry out their obligations, he declared.
A reference against the Governor would be forwarded to the president, the PTI leader continued, and steps have already been taken to have him removed from office.
