Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s counsel, Babar Awan, left for London on Friday, in an unexpected event in the country’s politics.
According to reports, Mr Awan boarded an aircraft from Islamabad International Airport to London.
However, on Twitter, he stated that he was travelling to London for “pre-arranged private engagements.”
“I have left the country for previously scheduled private engagements.” All of my medications are Pakistani, and I am being treated by enthusiastic Pakistani physicians. Imran was once a buddy; today he is my leader, Tehreek-e-Insaf is my extended family, and Pakistan is my objective,” he explained.
