Following his removal from office by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), party leader Miftah Ismail resigned from all party positions on Saturday.

Miftah abandoned his position as general secretary of the PML-N Sindh and the party’s committees. He declared that he would no longer participate in electoral politics and thanked the party for giving him duties.

“PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif always treated me well,” he claimed. He continued by expressing his desire for a just and prosperous Pakistan and expressing his best wishes for the party and its members.
