Two roof collapse accidents caused by rain occurred on Sunday in Faisalabad and Renala Khurd, leaving one person dead and five others injured, according to witnesses and rescuers.

In the first incident, witnesses and rescuers said that a worker was killed and two others were hurt when the roof of a building making power looms collapsed on Jaranwala Road in Faisalabad.

Rescue workers reported the crumbling roof probably caved in as a result of rain effects, trapping the workers under the debris. A nearby hospital received the dead and injured.
