Shireen Mazari’s daughter Imaan Mazari, a human rights activist, was detained once more on Monday as she left the Adiala jail after being granted bail in a case involving allegations of threat, incitement, and sedition. Shireen Mazari had previously declared she would never return to politics or the PTI following the May 9 violence.

In another case filed with the Barakahu Police Station, where she is accused of making accusations against sensitive organizations, Mazari was detained outside the prison.

The Central Jail Rawalpindi is the official name of the prison, however it is more commonly referred to as Adiala jail for the neighborhood in which it is situated.
