Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Thursday that Pakistan and the United States shared a desire to enhance their relationship and promote frequent interactions between their MPs.
The Foreign Minister told Congressman Ami Bera, Chairman of the US House Foreign Affairs Sub-Committee on Asia and the Pacific, that ongoing engagement with the US Congress was critical for supporting Pakistan-US ties that had withstood the test of time.
Ami Bera, a member of Congress, praised the Foreign Minister’s proactive outreach to improve Pakistan-US relations and commended Pakistan for assisting Afghan evacuations.
