LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly’s first list of reserved seats was created by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday.
Prior to this, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) made the decision to follow the Supreme Court’s ruling pertaining to PTI candidates’ reserved seats.
Once PTI founder Imran Khan has given his official clearance, the list will be presented to ECP.
PTI is anticipated to win 27 reserved seats in the Punjab Assembly, with three seats going to non-Muslims and 24 to women.
According to the reports, Ashma Shuja, Falak Javed, Ayesha Bhutta, Robina Rizwan, Robina Jamil, and Sadia Ayub are being considered for the reserved seats.
