ISLAMABAD (Channel News Pakistan) – Seven benches will begin hearing cases on Monday, according to the Supreme Court’s judge calendar for the coming week.

The roster states that Chief Justice Yahya Afridi will lead Bench One, which also includes Justices Shafi Siddiqui and Shakeel Ahmed. Justices Mansoor Ali Shah and Aqeel Abbasi are on Bench Two.

Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Ayesha Malik, and Justice Shahid Waheed will make up Bench Three, and Justice Athar Minallah, Justice Irfan Saadat, and Justice Malik Shehzad will make up Bench Four.

Bench Five will consist of Justice Musarrat Hilali and Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi, while Bench Six will consist of Justices Naeem Akhtar Afghan, Salahuddin Panhwar, and Aamer Farooq.

Justices Hashim Kakar and Ishtiaq Ibrahim make up Bench Seven.

From April 7 to April 11, two constitutional benches led by Justice Aminuddin Khan will be accessible in addition to the normal benches. A five-member constitutional bench will consider issues involving taxes, while a seven-member bench will hear cases involving military courts.
