ISLAMABAD — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has challenged the Centre to overthrow his administration if they have the necessary numbers.
Addressing a heated news conference at KP House in the federal capital, Gandapur stated that the PTI’s battle will continue until true independence was achieved.
Flanked by other PTI leaders, he stated that today’s parliamentary party gathering is a message of togetherness.
“The constitution was violated, and our mission was taken. “The May 9 incident was a conspiracy against the PTI founder,” the chief minister claimed.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that he was pressured multiple times to make accusations against the party’s founder.
He stated that May 9 was only a ruse; the true aim was the PTI founder.
“You cannot overthrow our government via constitutional methods. If you want to impose Governor’s Rule, go ahead and try,” stated Chief Minister Gandapur.
Speaking on the occasion, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar said that the party has no personal animosity against anyone.
He noted that the PTI founder has always advocated for political engagement to break the deadlock.
He also challenged the opposition, stating, “If anyone wants to move a no-confidence motion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they are free to do so. Those plotting such maneuvers lack the necessary numbers.
Gohar added that PTI MNAs, MPAs, and senators attended today’s meeting, which covered a variety of topics, including the reserved seats judgment, the party’s future strategy, and the potential of discussion with the government.
“Any official course of action will be communicated in due course,” he continued.
Addressing the letter from detained PTI officials suggesting negotiations with the government, Gohar said that the media frequently depicted the situation as if the government had given overtures for conversation, which the PTI subsequently refused.
Salman Akram Raja, the PTI Secretary General, stated that February 8 was a historic day when the people stood up to injustice.
“We’re told to move on and forget it,” he joked.
He emphasized that the PTI will continue its political war and will not back down.
“This is a struggle for human rights. “Taking away our mandate will not put an end to the resistance,” he said.
