Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, is optimistic as his team prepares to face Sri Lanka in the opening Test of the ICC World Test Championship 2023–25 on Sunday in Galle, kicking off their busy, demanding, and action-packed 2023–24 international cricket season.

The series’ second and final Test will begin on July 24 in Colombo.

Pakistan is slated to take part in the ACC Asia Cup, ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, and ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the upcoming 12 months in addition to the ICC World Test Championship games.
