LAHORE – Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh took oath as acting Chief Justice (CJ) of the Lahore High Court (LHC) today.
The oath was delivered by Justice Shahid Karim to Acting Chief Justice Abid Aziz.
The oath-taking ceremony took place at the LHC Judges’ Lounge.
Justices Syed Shehbaz Ali Rizvi, Shams Mehmood Mirza, and Tariq Saleem Sheikh presided over the oath-taking ceremony.
The oath-taking event was attended by federal and provincial law authorities, officials from the Lahore High Court Bar and Lahore Bar Associations, and members of the legal community.
