ISLAMABAD – With relation to the appeal that former First Lady Bushra Bibi filed against her detention in the ongoing Toshakhana reference case, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has given a written ruling.
Justices Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb and Arbab Muhammad Tahir of the Islamabad High Court issued the formal order.
According to the judgment, there are no longer any objections to Bushra Bibi’s request to be released from custody in the ongoing Toshakhana reference case. This plea is related to two additional pleas that are still pending, according to the petitioner’s attorney.
The court observed that a hearing had already been scheduled for two petitions contesting call-up notifications pertaining to the same subject.
