ISLAMABD- When asked about New Delhi’s role in the Lahore bombing, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said: “India is trying to distract attention away from its domestic difficulties by financing terrorism in Pakistan.”
Pakistan’s foreign minister stated that the country will reveal how India finances terrorism in other nations.
“We will address this matter in international forums,” FM Qureshi said earlier today in an interview with local TV.
National Security Adviser Moeed Yusuf stated on Sunday that the principal mastermind behind the attack was an Indian person who had ties to India, according to the inquiry.
“I want to make sure that our message [about] the event on June 23rd in Lahore is heard loud and clear. While briefing the country on the event, he added, “We have substantial evidence and intelligence, including money and telephone records, that point to direct Indian sponsorship of these terrorists.”
When questioned about India’s Kashmir policy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with Kashmiri lawmakers, FM Qureshi said New Delhi had failed miserably and that the Kashmiri leaders he met had conveyed their displeasure with the situation in the occupied region.
“India is dealing with a financial crisis, unemployment has risen in occupied Kashmir, and they are doing this [sponsoring terrorism] to deflect attention away from their own problems.”
Regarding Afghanistan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi stated that Pakistan has aided its Afghan brothers in their time of need, and now it is time for them to return home.
