Pakistan increased its coronavirus vaccines on Monday, vaccinating a total of 525,000 people, according to Asad Umar, the chairman of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
“We crossed half a million doses of immunisation for the first time yesterday,” the NCOC chief tweeted.
“The highest ever first dosage was also reached yesterday,” he continued, noting that 3 lakh 90 thousand first doses were delivered.
In the future, the minister promised to speed up vaccines.
“Inshallah, the tempo will go up much more,” he tweeted.
In February of this year, Pakistan launched a coronavirus vaccination campaign, inoculating individuals against COVID-19 to protect their safety.
