Sanaullah Zehri and Qadir Baloch have officially joined the PPP.

QUETTA – Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and Lt Gen (rtd) Abdul Qadir Baloch, both former Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leaders, formally joined the Pakistan Peoples’ Party on Sunday (PPP).

They officially declared their decision to join the PPP at a public meeting attended by party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari after expressing complete trust in the leadership.

Abdul Qadir Baloch, speaking to the crowd, stated that the PPP leaders consoled them. “This protest is only a warm-up for the PPP leadership because public gatherings have been limited owing to the pandemic coronavirus,” he explained.

“Personalities were at the centre of our politics. So the PML-N is no longer with us. He stated, “The PML-N is no longer a major figure in Balochistan, and the PPP has established a solid position in Balochistan now as a result of its abilities.”

Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, the former chief minister of Balochistan, has also announced his official joining of the PPP, claiming that Nawaz Sharif pledged to honour us but failed to do so.

“Nawaz Sharif humiliated us, and we don’t expect him to be loyal to us. We attempted to strengthen him by giving him chances over and over, but loyalty is not in his nature,” he continued.

Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and Gen Abdul Qadir Baloch, along with their followers, left the PML-N when they were not invited to a public conference organised by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on December 25, last year.

Sardar Zehri and Gen Baloch also responded angrily to PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif’s remarks at a PDM rally in Gujranwala criticising the army chief and the head of the Inter-Services Intelligence.
