ISLAMABAD – On Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan stressed that absolute adherence to the law should be guaranteed in the recovery of occupied territory.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, a meeting of the National Coordinating Committee for Housing and Construction was convened. Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib, Special Assistant Dr Shahbaz Gill, and other related senior authorities attended the meeting.
Farash Town and other infrastructural projects under New Pakistan Housing would be finished shortly, according to the prime minister’s briefing. In Islamabad, the digitization of forest land records is nearly complete.
The Surveyor General also gave a comprehensive briefing on cadastral mapping to the conference.
During the briefing, it was revealed that work on digital mapping and identification of government lands is now underway throughout the country, particularly in Islamabad and Lahore.
The conference was also briefed on Special/Site Development Zones, which would guarantee that essential services are provided to Perry Urban Settlements.
During the briefing, it was mentioned that the project will aid in improved land usage and the prevention of unlawful societies.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said the government was working to safeguard forest areas for environmental reasons, and that food security and climate change were the most pressing concerns facing the globe, including Pakistan.
He stated that the government was taking efforts to release occupied territory, and that strict adherence to the law should be guaranteed in this regard. Cadastral mapping will allow for the identification and improved utilisation of dead capital.
