LAHORE, Pakistan — In the face of rising inflation in Pakistan, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) announced a protest schedule against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) administration on Friday.
According to party sources, the PML-N will organise demonstrations on October 23 in Khanewal and Sialkot, as well as protests on October 27 in Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sahiwal, and Multan.
In the meantime, PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has asked people to join opposition parties in protest of the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The PML-N leader said in a statement that “we all have to send this administration packing.” When the corrupt and inept PTI leaves power, the general public will breathe a sigh of relief, he added.
PML-N spokeswoman Maryam Aurangzeb has previously stated that PDM will organise protests in several locations throughout the nation, with demonstrations scheduled for October 24 in Mianwali and Bhakhar.
